The exterior of the bag is made with vinyl (faux leather). The interior is made with water-resistant canvas. The hardware on the back is on both the left and right side of the bag which allows you to have the bag over either shoulder. Also on the back of the bag, is a large zipper pocket that will be hidden by your body when worn, whether it's worn across the front or the back of your body. This is perfect for keeping things like cash, cards, passport, or any other important documents, so that no one can access them. There is also a zipper pocket on the front. When the hook near the top front of the bag is undone, you have a great pocket for keeping a cell phone, charger, keys, or even water/juice bottles that are easily accessible. After opening the spacious main zipper compartment, which has a two-way zipper for ease of access depending on which shoulder you're wearing it over, there is another slip pocket inside.
